“Lasciate ogni pregiudizio o voi che entrate”
Mi chiamo Barariu Daniel Marian Sartini e sono nato il 22 luglio 1999 ad Adâncata, un piccolo paesino
di campagna in Romania. Nel 2003, all’età di quattro anni, sono stato adottato da una coppia italiana
e mi sono trasferito a Fano, nelle Marche, dove risiedo tuttora.
Da piccolo, ho scoperto di possedere un talento e una grande passione per l’arte, ciò mi ha portato a
seguire un percorso di studi artistici: dapprima il liceo artistico “A. Apolloni” nella città di Fano e poi
l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Urbino.
Traggo ispirazione da diverse correnti artistiche, in particolare l’Iperrealismo, il Surrealismo e la Pop
Art. Creando opere affronto temi molteplici, come la mia infanzia e la nostalgia per un mondo rurale
semplice, da cui la mia adozione mi ha allontanato, causando una frattura esistenziale che si riflette
nelle mie creazioni.
Un altro tema che mi interessa affrontare è la fragilità della condizione umana, che spesso racconto in
un tono sarcastico e dissacrante, piena di simbolismo e interpretazioni personali. Mi diverto inoltre ad
includere importanti momenti storici nelle mie tele, reinterpretando attraverso simboli e allegorie che
mettono in discussione il presente.
Nella mia produzione, ho dedicato molto tempo alla ritrattistica, un genere che rivisito in modo
originale, passando dall’uso del carboncino a quello dei colori a olio. Nei miei ritratti di grande
formato, la figura umana non è solo una replica, ma un’interpretazione che a volte diventa
caricaturale, mettendo in evidenza aspetti unici delle personalità dei soggetti. Nei miei autoritratti,
cerco di catturare la mia essenza in relazione alle problematiche e dissonanze che percepisco nel
mondo esterno.
Per me, l’arte non è solo estetica, ma uno strumento pratico e incisivo per affrontare le sfide della
società contemporanea.
My name is Barariu Daniel Marian Sartini, and I was born on July 22, 1999, in Adâncata, a small
village in rural Romania. In 2003, when I was just four years old, I was adopted by an Italian couple
and moved to Fano, in the Marche region, where I still live today.
From an early age, I realized that I had a talent and a deep passion for art, which guided me toward
artistic studies. I first attended the “A. Apolloni” art high school in Fano, followed by the Academy of
Fine Arts in Urbino.
I find inspiration in various artistic movements, particularly Hyperrealism, Surrealism, and Pop Art. My
works explore a range of themes, including my childhood and a longing for the simple rural world from
which my adoption distanced me, creating an existential fracture that resonates in my art.
I am also drawn to the fragility of the human condition, which I often depict in a sarcastic and
irreverent manner, infused with symbolism and personal interpretations. I enjoy incorporating
significant historical moments into my paintings, reinterpreting them through symbols and allegories
that challenge contemporary issues.
Throughout my artistic journey, I have devoted considerable time to portraiture—a genre I approach
with originality, transitioning from charcoal to oil paints. In my large-scale portraits, the human figure
transcends mere replication; it becomes an interpretation that sometimes takes on a caricatured
quality, highlighting unique aspects of the subjects’ personalities. In my self-portraits, I strive to
capture my essence while reflecting on the problems and dissonances I perceive in the world around
me. For me, art is not solely about aesthetics; it serves as a practical and incisive tool to confront the
challenges of modern society.
Je m’appelle Barariu Daniel Marian Sartini et je suis né le 22 juillet 1999 à Adâncata, un petit village
rural en Roumanie. En 2003, à l’âge de quatre ans, j’ai été adopté par un couple italien et j’ai
déménagé à Fano, dans la région des Marches, où je vis toujours aujourd’hui.
Dès mon jeune âge, j’ai compris que j’avais un talent et une passion profonde pour l’art, ce qui m’a
orienté vers des études artistiques. J’ai d’abord fréquenté le lycée artistique « A. Apolloni » à Fano,
puis l’Académie des Beaux-Arts d’Urbino.
Je trouve mon inspiration dans divers courants artistiques, notamment l’Hyperréalisme, le
Surréalisme et la Pop Art. Mes œuvres explorent une multitude de thèmes, y compris mon enfance et
une nostalgie pour le monde rural simple dont mon adoption m’a éloigné, créant une fracture
existentielle qui se reflète dans mon art.
Je suis également attiré par la fragilité de la condition humaine, que je représente souvent de manière
sarcastique et irrévérencieuse, riche en symbolisme et en interprétations personnelles. J’aime
intégrer des moments historiques significatifs dans mes tableaux, les réinterprétant à travers des
symboles et des allégories qui interrogent les enjeux contemporains.
Tout au long de mon parcours artistique, j’ai consacré beaucoup de temps à la portraiture, un genre
que j’aborde de manière originale, passant du fusain à la peinture à l’huile. Dans mes portraits de
grand format, la figure humaine dépasse la simple réplique; elle devient une interprétation qui, parfois,
prend une qualité caricaturale, mettant en avant des aspects uniques des personnalités des sujets.
Dans mes autoportraits, j’essaie de capturer mon essence tout en réfléchissant aux problèmes et aux
dissonances que je perçois dans le monde qui m’entoure. Pour moi, l’art ne se limite pas à
l’esthétique; il sert d’outil pratique et incisif pour faire face aux défis de la société moderne.
